lol poor review.. leather is actually pretty cheap, the finishing is good but the quality of the chassis is crap.
I went through the same dilemma. Trust me its RGBLED. I actually had that same part number and you’ll be able to tell if its RGBLED or not.
I specifically ordered the RGBLED, but my order says:
320-83351Premium FHD WLED Display, Obsidian Black, 2.0 MP Webcam
Doesn’t sound like RGBLED and I freakin’ SPECIFICALLY STATED RGBLED ARGH!

It all depends on what offers Dell currently has.
No, it doesn’t has turbo boost, but based on overheating in this lap and battery autonomy, i prefer a lower processor in it.
Does i5 comes just with 9 cell battery?

That processor might be a little low for gaming, I don’t believe you get Turbo Boost from the i3? I could be mistaken?
I’m getting one soon, but core i3 330m, i think it would be just fine for gaming.

But then for some reason she said there out of the rgbled screen and wont get any one to two months from now. Hopefully everythings alright with the computer and if not then I will return it and get the Dell XPS 1647 with RGBLED Screen and blu-ray. Hopefully my laptop comes with the 130watt adapter. Thanks for making the video. Sorry about the Hp DV8t. The only laptop I own is a hp. One more question. How is the battery life? It should be 3-4 hours on the 9 cell right?
Thanks Matt. I want the dell studio xps. When I recieve my order Im sure the laptop will be great. Hopefully they will still have the black protective microfiber that they give you with the laptop. Also whenever I ordered the laptop that is on the way. The sales rep that I talk to you when buying asked me what I want I told her RGBLED screen and everything she said ok there is the 1647 with i5 processer. So I said ok ill get that one with blu-ray and everthing I want.

They do charge a 15% restocking fee but I heard if you get the right rep they will waive it.
Ok so the main question I want ask is if I want to return the laptop if Im not satisfied with the screen would you know if Dell gives a full refund or will the charge a 15% restocking fee? The laptop that I have ordered has a EDD of 3/4/10 which just found out it has been updated to 3/11/10 which is dumb cuz I cant wait to get my XPS. This is my last comment. Please answer my question.
I could of ordered the RGBLED screen but wouldnt revieve my laptop til may which I dont want to wait that long. Hopefully the WLED 1080p screen is a good screen. I did order the XPS 1645 a month ago with the RGBLED screen but Dell didnt have blu-ray at the time so I cancelled it two days after I made the order.
@MattMJB0188 I have been looking for a new laptop for 2 months now. I have been debating between the Toshiba Qosmio, Sony F series and the Dell studio xps 16. The bottom line is If im going to buy a laptop then I want everything in it like blu-ray, 1080p and very fast computer. I ordered the Dell Studio XPS 1645 on Feb. 11 with an i7 processer, WLED 1080p, 500GB HD, 6GB Ram, Blu-ray. The only thing that I wanted that the didnt have when ordered was the RGBLED screen which is stupid.

im ordered mine waiting for it…i did nott have the option for the RGB Led and im pretty pissed…still 1080HD but im hearing such good things about this RGBLED. Hope im not dissapointed

I was about to get the same config but I called dell and they just replaced my 3670 motherboard and processor with a 4670 and upgraded the processor to a 2.93 for free. It might of been a mistake but oh well.
The xps 16 is about to get a new video card so I’ll wait for it and usb 3.0

nice laptop i just got mine before 1 month but it died after 1 week due to bios update failure so dont try to update bios
