@davomrmac hello davomrmac I have just ordered a dell xps 8100 with the new ATI radeon 5770 HD graphics card that I bought for 80 € extra do you think it’s worth it instead of the GTS 240, I was told it runs like a 9800gt
When you say ‘spare pci express slot’ does this mean it supports crossfire or sli?
because im thinking of use two ATI 5770 in crossfire.
Looks like a good improvement over the 8000, though they could have done more to improve performance.
How do you feel about the Dell XPS 8100? I read that it’s good for gaming.
Abandoned it, I just was not getting into covering the XPS. Don’t get me wrong my general impression… well built, ran quietly, very fast, fast hard drive installed from Dell, no crashes (Win 7 was good).

Im buying mine from pc world with a geforce 220gts 1gb graphics card. im not 100% happy with it because i need mine for mostly gaming. will most other cards fitt in the system?

hey, i am thinking about buying one of these.. but it seems dell are underclocking the gpu by about 10% due to the 350w PSU.. how good do games run ?
It might have damage it but it is unlikely. Your worry over nothing.
