Just did a quick video showing people how to install a new hard drive and memory on the M1530. Figured it would help some people that may not know.
Incoming search terms:

Hi this was really useful but I was wondering in the BIOS should I change the ACPI setup to be ATA now that I am using an SATA hard drive? thanks.

He actually doesn’t have a name to the song. He just wanted to make a techno sound beat and this is what came out. I felt it sounded great for background music for tutorials.

also 32 bit only supports 3.5 gbs

You need to have a 64 bit OS. If you install vista or windows 7 64 bit all of your ram will be seen.
I recently uprgade my dell XPS from1 GB to 4GB of RAM and the PC its only detecting 2GB on RAM…..how can i configure it to take advantage of the whole 4 GB….thank you
make sure your fan is working and you aren’t covering it(stopping the fan from sucking cool air into your machine)
