I am trying to decide on a laptop for college and I am not entirely sure what to get. I think that the Dell studio xps 16 seems like a great computer, but what are your suggestions?

Have you checked out the HP DV4. I have one from www.qvc.com with 2 gb ram and 500 hard drive with a multi-layer DVD player. And it ROCKS. Was a great Price too.

Hi Michael,
The Dell Studio XPS 16 is a great laptop for college because of its multimedia capabilities. Before you decide, I suggest you check out a tool called PC Scout. You can enter your specs (such as RAM, size, price, etc.) and the tool will generate recommendations for you. There are many other laptops worth looking into before you finalize your decision.
